An LMS for associations without the custom build, the procurement cycle, or the budget fight

Your members want professional development. However, building it from scratch takes a custom course project, a procurement process, and a budget line most mission-driven organizations don't have lying around. Instead, a ready-to-license library gets you there faster. Plus, your members aren't employees, so nobody's review depends on finishing a course. As a result, the content has to earn attention. That's why we organized it into short pathways instead of a giant catalog.

Each course runs 5 to 20 minutes, and each pathway takes 2 to 4 hours spread over several weeks. So a busy member can finish a lesson between meetings, then come back next week for the next one.

Use your LMS for associations as a member benefit or a revenue line

What you pay us covers the platform and content license. Meanwhile, what you charge members, if anything, is up to you. The platform works the same either way.

Included in dues

That way, training becomes a reason to renew and a reason to join.

Sold separately

Turn it into a non-dues revenue line. You set member prices and keep the difference.

Starting points to test

If you price it separately, reasonable starting points are about $10 to $15 for an individual course, $40 to $50 for a full pathway, or $13 to $25 a month for a subscription. Either way, treat these as starting points to test with your members, not fixed rates.

Pathways in our LMS for associations that members will recognize

A library of 700+ courses in 39 categories is a lot to hand someone. So we grouped the courses into curated pathways your members can start right away. Here are four of them. Other pathways include The Accidental Leader and Sell Without the Sleaze, so you can match the library to what your members actually do for a living. And because every pathway is already built, you can promote a new one each quarter instead of building content from scratch.

New Manager, No Manual

For the person promoted with zero training and a stack of new problems.

Say What You Mean

The most universally useful pathway in the library.

Service That Sells

For industries where one bad interaction costs you a customer for good.

Job Ready, Day One

First-week onboarding that gets new hires productive faster.

What members see inside your LMS for associations

Your members get a clean, branded place to learn. Specifically, here's what's already built before you launch.

Easy sign-up

Members sign up with email or social login, on your brand instead of ours.

Complete micro courses

Every course includes objectives, video, a downloadable resource, knowledge checks and a certificate.

Progress and certificates

Progress tracking shows who is working on what, while completion certificates give members something to show for it.

Built-in selling tools

If you sell access, checkout handles bundles and subscriptions. Also, the affiliate program tracks links, sales and commissions.

Serve members in other languages? French and Spanish sample courses show what translation looks like, and The URL dr handles translation and localization. For the full tour, see all the learning management system features, or book an LMS demo and we'll walk you through it.

LMS for associations pricing, sized to your membership

Pricing is published and based on member count, from 10 to 2,000. Your size also decides where your academy lives. For example, a 100-member association pays $7,800 a year for the content license, or $15,800 with Program Management.

Up to 50 members

Shared platform

A branded space on our shared YourTrainingBase platform, still fully your look and feel.

50 members or more

Dedicated member portal

Your own dedicated white-labeled member academy as standard. Your domain, your branding, no shared infrastructure. Better yet, you license the courses and own the academy.

Annual price by headcount

2,000$30,000 / yr$18,000 / yr$48,000 / yr

Program Management is optional. The content license works on its own; the last column shows the price if you add Program Management.

A one-time setup fee applies at launch: $499 for the shared platform, $999 for a dedicated platform. Over 2,000 members, or need CE credits, certification tracks, or board training? Those usually call for a custom build instead. Schedule a call and we'll talk it through.

Already have a member portal?

The courses license as SCORM and Tin Can compatible files, so they import into the system you already run. No migration required. That SCORM offer lives on The URL dr's site, since it's a separate product from a branded academy.

How launching an LMS for associations works

1. Confirm your plan

Pick your member count and decide whether you want Program Management. Then pay the one-time setup fee: $499 for the shared platform or $999 for a dedicated one.

2. We build your academy

Most organizations are live within a few weeks of confirming a plan. A dedicated academy takes about a month, since we set it up on your domain with your branding.

3. Members start learning

You announce it, members sign up, and the pathways are ready on day one. With Program Management, we also handle enrollment and removal, tech support tickets and monthly usage reports. Plus, a dedicated contact reports results to your leadership.

Contracts are annual, and you can add members to your plan as you grow. You can cancel any time before renewal, and any courses you added are yours to take.

An LMS for associations from a team nonprofits already trust

The URL dr has built custom training for associations and nonprofits including AICPA, the Wireless Infrastructure Association, the American Physical Society, Environmental Defense Fund, and Leadership for Educational Equity. That was custom work, not this library. Even so, it shaped how we think about content people choose to finish.

The URL dr is a US-based e-learning agency with 18 years in business, EDWOSB certification, and 80%+ client retention. Our whole team is based in the US, too. In addition, Nonprofit Solutions already runs its own white-labeled member site on this platform. You can see it and others in our white label LMS examples.

LMS for associations questions people ask

Can we charge members for access to our LMS for associations?

Either. Include it in dues or sell it separately and keep the revenue. You set member prices, and the built-in checkout handles bundles and subscriptions.

How is LMS for associations pricing structured?

By member count, from 10 to 2,000. There's a content license fee and an optional Program Management fee, priced separately. Also, a one-time setup fee of $499 or $999 applies at launch.

Does the LMS for associations include a white-labeled member portal?

Yes. At 50 members or more you get a dedicated white-labeled portal with your own domain and branding. Meanwhile, groups of up to 50 can start on a branded shared space.

How is an LMS for associations different from custom nonprofit training?

Custom builds are for CE credits, certification tracks, or content that must follow your own standards. By contrast, this is the pre-built library for skills like leadership, communication, and customer service. Many associations use both.

How fast can we launch our LMS for associations?

Most organizations are live within a few weeks of confirming a plan. A dedicated academy takes about a month.

Can we add our own courses to our LMS for associations?

On dedicated academies, yes. The URL dr can build them, or you can bring courses from elsewhere.

Does this work as an LMS for nonprofits, too?

Yes. For example, Nonprofit Solutions runs its own white-labeled site on The Instant Academy. The pricing, setup and pathways are the same.

What if we already have a member portal?

The courses license as SCORM and Tin Can compatible files, so they import into your existing system.
